Martinsburg Travel Gallery

I was able to make another trip to the Eastern Panhandle and decided to drive my family crazy by taking more photos - on my new cell phone! We were in Martinsburg, WV and wow... the history and architecture is amazing. I was only able to briefly touch on the beautiful structures in the great city. Oh, and a big THANK YOU to Anthony's Pizza at 300 N. Queen Street! Lunch was delicious - you HAVE to try the specials!

Harpers Ferry 2011

My family and I spend the evening Saturday before Memorial Day in historic Harper's Ferry. We got there a little late (sun was setting for some of the photos) for what we'd planned (Ghost Hunt), but we decided to make the best of it. Next time, I promise a better write-up and more photos!

Downtown Logan Gallery

My wife, who voluteers with the Red Cross. was unexpectedly called back to Logan for a meeting this weekend, so I offered to drive her down. After seeing her off to her meeting, I quickly ditched my car and took a walking tour of Downtown Logan armed only with my Android phone/camera.

Now, I must say, these photos do NOT do justice to how lovely and interesting Logan truly is. First, there is so much more to see than I was able to take in without a guide and just on foot. Second, the time of year and today's weather made everthing seem dull and dreary - that is NOT Logan! Trust m, this place lights up on a beautiful Summer, Spring or especially Fall day!
